Serum separator tube. Also acceptable: Lavender (EDTA), pink (K2 EDTA), or green (sodium or lithium heparin).
Specimen Preparation:
Transfer 0.5 mL serum or plasma to a Standard Transport Tube. (Min: 0.3 mL)
Storage/Transport Temperature:
Refrigerated.
Unacceptable Conditions:
Grossly hemolyzed or lipemic specimens.
